A great, prewar set, that would be impossible to upgrade. The capture papers specify the gun by the serial number. It has all the attributes of the Japanese made holsters, including the loops for the shoulder strap carry. It comes with a rare, Japanese made, holster. It remains in 99% near-mint original condition with just a few minor handling marks, too small to see in the photographs. The only way to conclusively prove the Japanese connection for these guns is the presence of the capture papers and of the correct Japanese made holster. The serial number is a guide of course after the features and markings. However, there were a few that were purchased in the early 1930s that had no identifiable Japanese features. Yes, the markings are the key and only if you can find them or if the pistol has them. A vast majority of the FN1910 Japanese procurement guns had a kanji marking preceding the serial number on the right side as the only proof that tied these guns to Japan. FN 1910 models proved to be very popular and were purchased with locally made holsters. Japanese officers had to purchase their own sidearms and many opted for European made handguns in. An FN M1910, serial number 19074, chambered in. 2/25/20 - This is a super rare, all matching, Japanese procurement FN 1910 rig with capture papers. The FN Model 1910 was a departure for Browning.
