![]() ![]() I checked his computer and there is an enterprise version of antivirus called Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) installed but there were no Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager which acts as a server to manage the SEP clients on the network. "errorMessage": "JSON parse error: Cannot deserialize instance of `` out of START_OBJECT token nested exception is .exc.MismatchedInputException: Cannot deserialize instance of `` out of START_OBJECT token\n at "īut it still doesn't shed any light (for me) on what it actually WANTS from the body.An old friend contacted me today and asked me to help him to remove a virus infection on his desktop. I get that even if I send any other 'computer' field - uuid, computerName, etc. "responseMessage": "Input argument is not a valid GUID: null" So, some examples and what the API returns: [ I'm not opposed to trying it with Power Shell, but sticking with REST API calls is preferred since this will eventually be called thru Ansible's URI module, like all the other API calls to get the IDs. ![]() ![]() I can reply in a little bit with some actual coffee if anyone has any ideas or experience. I'm on mobile, unable to sleep at the moment. Using json formatting, I've passed a list of just the unique IDs and as list of dictionaries with "uniqueId" : "UNIQUEIDVALUE" for each computer. I have a list of 'uniqueId' values and have tried passing the list in a variety of different ways. Looking at that section, any attribute can be used, and no particular field is required. The documentation says that you can pass a body with an array of the "computer" type. I have a working call to do one computer at a time. I am using Postman to troubleshoot the 'computers/delete' part of the SEPM REST API. Anyone else been exposed to the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager API? Version 14, in particular? ![]()
